Since temporarily closing our sites on the 23rd of March to protect the health of our employees, supplier and customers, we have been working hard on our return to work plans. This is an incredibly complex process, and one which we must get right. Every business has their own pressures and issues to resolve and we are no different. We have done our utmost to remain professional throughout, and to maintain our integrity with both customers, suppliers and employees alike.
The Donaldson Group is now in its 160th year. We have seen most things in this time. This however is a first for us all, but we are confident our business and our market will return to strength in the weeks and months ahead.
These return to work plans will be complete and operational by Friday 1st May and expand on the Site Operating Procedures guidance that has been published by the Construction Leadership Council. Our plans then involve a gradual return to work for many of our employees, with numbers increasing over the rest of May
Throughout the week beginning May 4th, we will be conducting training on all our sites. We will also have sales teams and production managers in place assessing customer requirements. Our teams will be in touch with you over the course of that week. We are working towards the following timings;
1st May – Group wide Site Operating Procedures are approved and implemented on all sites.
W/C 4th May – Staff training and customer communications to commence. Some limited production and deliveries may also commence on a few sites.
W/C 11th May – return of all sites to operations based on customer demand.
We appreciate and thank you for your patience and understanding throughout these incredibly challenging and unprecedented times.
